Albert “Al” Periu joined Zilch in 2021, when his venture backed FinTech lender, NepFin, was acquired by Zilch, thus launching Zilch’s US business. Al now serves as CEO of Zilch USA, Inc.
Prior to founding and leading NepFin, Albert was an executive at Funding Circle, a global online marketplace for commercial loans, where he served as the company’s Global Co-Head of Capital Markets and as President of the company’s broker-dealer affiliate, Funding Circle Securities. Albert previously held various positions at FBR & Co., Merrill Lynch and Deutsche Bank specializing in private and public debt and equity transactions. Albert holds a BS in Finance and International Business from Georgetown University.
